The CIMS PG Reading Group took place on Thursday 24th April, 1-2pm where we explored our experience of memory by the sea. We discussed Transoceanic Memory (Studies): Oceans as Mode, Method and Material Hanna Teichler, as well as reading and discussing a poem on the theme. In anticipation of our CIMS PG Symposium in May, ‘Memory, Habitat, and the Anthropocene’, this reading group served as a useful and complementary precursor for participants, as well as our wider PG community.
Date: Thursday, 24th April.
Time: 1-2pm.
Place: Buchanan 401 (BUC 401: Classroom)
